about
Hey! I’m Mary Margaret, but you can call me MM, M&M or MSquared. I’m a Georgia-born, Arizona-living graphic designer with a passion for anything creative and outdoor. As a kid, you could find me collecting (100% inedible) berries to garnish “mud cakes” or “designing” business cards with my dad’s computer and crayons.
It’s all about balance, right?
professionally speaking
As a young adult, I worked as an office manager & inspector for an environmental consultant. This position gave me experience in coordinating ordered chaos, and my first glance into project management.
In my spare time, I started creating social media ads and presentations for female-owned businesses and assisted in copywriting for email marketing. When I was asked to design a website and packaging for a health & wellness brand, I decided it was time for formal training.
Originally a psychology major (outdoor education minor), I returned for my BA in Graphic Design. Learning how to improve communication with visual elements quenched my curiosity in both fields.
I became the in-house graphic designer for the same environmental consultant.
redefining balance
Throughout the years, I also stayed dedicated to my yoga mat. Originally intending to keep my back and hips ready for my backpacking trips, I experienced just as great of an impact on my mind. To deepen my knowledge, I studied and trained to become a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (Yoga Alliance).
Practicing and teaching yoga has reinforced the importance of balance and focus—both on the mat and in my daily life.
how i recharge
Outside of my professional life, you’ll find me staying curious by experimenting in the kitchen with my husband or connecting to the world by chasing new trails. Together, these passions keep me grounded, creative, and excited to collaborate with organizations that empower people and the planet.
why me?
I approach every project with flexibility, curiosity, and a focus on impact. My skills in graphic design, project coordination, and marketing allow me to turn ideas into actionable, visually compelling solutions, while my yoga practice and outdoor adventures keep me grounded, adaptable, and energized.
